CHICAGO (April 17, 2020) – Chicago-based Wavicle Data Solutions, a leading provider of cloud engineering services, data management consulting, and data science and visualization services, today announced it has ranked number 24 on Inc. Magazine’s inaugural Inc. 5000 Series: Midwest. Wavicle’s impressive placement adds to a growing list of accomplishments and milestones, including placing on Inc.’s national Inc. 500 list in September 2019.

“We are thrilled and honored to be recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Midwest,” stated Naveen Venkatapathi, president of Wavicle Data Solutions. “Our team has tirelessly worked to deliver the most innovative, customized data and analytics solutions to some of the largest companies around the globe. Their hard work and focus on our customers’ needs has helped catapult our success.”

Over the last year, Wavicle has announced numerous achievements including the launch of a new data and analytics hub in India, the expansion of its Chicago headquarters, the addition of several new Chicago-area brands to its client roster, the securing of several new partnerships, and the launch of ActiveDeliver™, Wavicle’s new third-party food delivery analytics platform for large restaurant groups and quick service restaurants.

According to Inc., the companies on their inaugural Inc. 5000 Series: Midwest list show stunning rates of growth across all industries in the 12 Midwest states. MORE ABOUT INC. AND THE INC. 5000 REGIONAL SERIES

Methodology

The 2020 Inc. 5000 Regional Series is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2016 and 2018. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generated revenue by March 31, 2016. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2018. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2016 is $100,000; the minimum for 2018 is $1 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons.
