The Genie process begins with preparing and adding data to the Genie space. To maintain alignment with organizational standards, the Genie space is connected to governed data sources through Unity Catalog, ensuring secure and consistent access across teams. Next, Genie is given context that matters to your business. This means using familiar terms, KPIs, units, and business rules so insights are easy to understand. Datasets are tagged to specific business areas or initiatives, and access is tailored to different roles, whether you’re viewing, contributing, or editing – so everyone sees the right information in the right way.

From there, Genie learns through interactive exploration. You can ask questions in natural language, check the responses, and refine them to uncover deeper insights. Quick iterations help test ideas with visuals, summaries, and sample questions. Finally, results can be shared as dashboards, reports, or notebooks across BI tools, collaboration platforms like Teams or Slack, and the enterprise knowledge hub – ensuring insights are accessible, reusable, and easy to act on.
