Role Overview
- • We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to architect, design, and deliver scalable, secure and high-performance data solutions.
- • This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric, with strong hands-on experience in modern data platforms, distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- • You will lead data engineering initiatives, mentor a team of engineers, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across product, analytics and platform teams to enable data-driven decision-making at scale.
Required Skills & Experience
- • 8+ years in data engineering, with 3+ years in a lead role.
- • Strong experience with:
- ∘ Azure Data Factory (ADF) – pipeline orchestration & integration
- ∘ Azure Cosmos DB – NoSQL modelling & performance tuning
- ∘ Microsoft Fabric – Lakehouse, data warehouse, and analytics solutions
- ∘ Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- ∘ Proficiency in SQL and Python (or Spark).
- ∘ Experience with distributed systems and large-scale data processing.
- ∘ Strong understanding of data modelling (relational & NoSQL).
