THE OPPORTUNITY
Wavicle is hiring UI Lead who have a passion for solving complex business problems across a variety of industries. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing scalable data lakes, data warehouses and/or data pipelines in order for the customer’s data to accurately operate as a “single source of truth”. You have a keen understanding of how to solve for a business problem leveraging technology.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced UI Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in UI development and will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of UI developers to deliver high-quality UI solutions. The UI Lead will work closely with the design team, back-end developers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of UI solutions that meet the client’s requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of UI developers to deliver high-quality UI solutions.
• Collaborate with the design team to create user-centred designs that meet the client’s requirements.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate UI solutions with the back-end systems.
• Ensure the UI solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Implement SSO and authentication protocols to secure the UI applications
• Develop and maintain UI development standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the UI development team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI development trends, technologies, and tools.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical input to help shape the project requirements and scope.
• Ensure the UI development team is meeting project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in UI development, with at least 2 years of experience leading a UI development team.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in React JS.
• Experience with CSS pre-processors (Sass, Less, etc.) and build tools .
• Experience with UI testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme, etc.).
• Experience with Code Versioning Tools like ( Git, Code Commit etc)
• Strong knowledge of UI design principles, UX best practices, and accessibility standards.
• Experience implementing SSO and authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge in Azure/AWS technologies would be preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
